Hunt & Gather

A foray into the survival genre. Still very much in development. But I have been able to get the majority of the game mechanics down. The objective is to survive long enough to make it to the next area of the wilderness.

This is a top down polygon art game where you can harvest trees, pick up objects, craft and hunt. Then build a fire and use it to keep the night creatures away, cook food, and smelt metals.

My goal for this is to have a very realistic animal AI system. It’s entirely as hard as it sounds. After all, I’m not DeepMind over here.

To do: more bug fixes, finalizing the artwork, atmospheric effects and getting that fucking AI down (so hard). Then the game will be ready for me to build out the levels in depth and release an alpha version.
